With the graphical improvements in the Shadowlands expansion, WoW no longer supports GPUs which are incompatible with shader-model-5. However, a small number of players still runs WoW on older hardware, and as a result, cannot play the game. BlizzardCS has announced on Twitter that they are aware of the current "Character Not Found" issue and are working on a fix. Players are currently finding themselves unable to log in due to "Character Not Found" issues, or a blank character screen. Rextroy has found a workaround, albeit a pricey one, for the bug where sockets reduce your performance in PvP. Blizzard has announced the first set of low population realm connections during the next maintenance period for NA servers. With this week's reset, Blizzard has pushed their new penalty for wearing 200 or more total corruption, which quickly kills you while in combat. The new effect, Inescapable Consequences reads as follows:Inescapable Consequences - Taking 25% of maximum health as damage every 1 sec while in combat.Having this effect doesn't add a new color to your character corruption, but instead adds a permanent purple hue to your screen.Continue reading »
